around the web in 10 links v2
Doesn't Molly look like the most relaxed cat ever in this picture? I was frantically cleaning, or something to that nature and she just gave me this look of put your feet up, unwind a bit with me. How do you say no to that face? You don't...
Time for a second round of around the web in 10 links with me.
I cannot stop reading Love Letters. Sometimes heart breaking, funny, but all and all a good reminder that the world is really looking for love, and well no one knows what they are doing.
Hello, this is Luke. For all the Gilmore Fans out there, he's out there .... maybe.
That time the actual author of the book I wrote about about on the blog, commented on my post. I couldn't believe it.
A history of TGIF, I for one cannot wait for the Full House reboot. This was my Friday night back in the day.
I wish I could come, but I really want this t-shirt.
For a giggle, Kylo Ren as Undercover Boss. I cannot stop watching this.
I love TV, I really really do, however I am starting to wonder if there are too many options?
Would you ever have separate beds for you and your significant other?
A favorite picture blog that I follow. I love the pictures these two ladies post - the simple aesthetic is gorgeous.
I really want to see this live show, I've been listening to the podcast fairly regularly. Have you listened to Mortified?

around the web in 10 links v1
For what I lack in posting on a regular basis, I am a pretty steady reader of a lot of things the internet has to offer. Found some great links I wanted to share with you this week.
Erin's pencil case souvenir idea, fantastic way to bring something useful home from travels.
Beautiful Feather note cards from minted.
Great early fall layering sweater. Helpful for anyone else who suffers from hot afternoons at a sunny window seat at work. I bought two.
Hating boats gets you blog traffic, who knew?
Is summer really over? Not if I can help it with my new jam.
Joanna's thoughts on single tasking. Is time to put the phone down for an extended period of time?
A DIY I definitely want to do, I might need help though....
Did you know you can freeze delivery pizza? I've started this trick and it's works so well.
A great place to find some staples, and some fun things. My most complimented shoes are a find from here.
I cannot stop listening to these funny ladies, I caught up on a few back episodes while watching people on the beach. I was not laughing at you beach people!

i had a dream about other bloggers… and no it wasn’t creepy… well…
| I don't think there's an appropriate picture for this post, so enjoy a plant. |
To dream or not to dream that is the question. I am always
one to have really vivid dreams, like you aren’t sure if they are real or not,
except there’s a few things that don’t add up. For example, I once had a dream
where two girls from high school were baking cookies for some of my college
friends in an amazing kitchen – what didn’t add up is how the high school
people and the college people knew each other – sure, I was common link but why
would someone make cookies for strangers?
The other night I was tired, like bone tired (usually how
this weird things happen)- so I was overly excited to hop in to bed and get
some rest. I still like a rock – I don’t
wake up for much usually, which I blame on my years of living city life. I
could sleep through a rave if I needed to. Somewhere in the dream sequence, I
ended up on a train with Stephanie from the Niene Dialogues
and her entire family, who I kept referring to as the modern day Von Trapps
from the Sound of Music (Stephanie, if you read this, please know I was nothing
but respectful in my dream, I was just really happy to meet you all). The
family was as welcoming and lovely as I imagine, and willing to take pictures
with me. I honestly felt like I made new friends in my dream. Upon returning to
my seat, which then took on an airplane feel (hey, you know anything can happen
in your mind) another blogger was there, asking if the people a few rows back
was indeed Stephanie. It was Sarah from Venus Trapped in Mars
– who was equally as excited to meet Stephanie. I, of course, played with my
good manners and made introductions – because well I was old friends with
everyone at that point. Sarah seemed
equally as fun as she comes across in her blog, the girl who’s up for anything,
and ready to have fun. This is about where I remember waking up…
So if I had to guess what happened next, Sarah, Stephanie
(and family) and I probably got off the train and had lunch. I am sure we all
became besties for life, or something to that manner.
I swear I am not creepy, but maybe it’s time not to catch up
on blogs before bed. Anyway, I am glad that people were really nice in my
dreams, as I imagine they are in their everyday lives. Who knows, maybe I’ll
make some other friends the next time I have a dream?

holiday ornament swap
For the second year in a row, I've participated in Meg's Ornament Swap . It's a great way to spread some holiday cheer and meet other bloggers. I was lucky to be paired up with Kate over at Green Fashionista, who sent over a lovely sea themed ornament, with a cheeky tag (completely made me smile). I haven't had a chance to hang this on my tree as I headed up to New England very early the next morning, so I apologize for the quick snaps. I've really enjoyed getting to know Kate, and her blog is becoming one of my favorites to catch up on through out the weeks.
I am definitely starting to get in the holiday spirit this week. Hope you are also enjoying some fun and relaxing a bit.

Instagram is one of my favorite ways to stalk people. I
cannot tell you how many celebrity non-famous family members feeds I’ve poured
through looking for some random photo of said famous person in a completely
natural picture. Yep, I am that girl – but it’s fun for a bit to just see
someone’s regular family maybe posting a photo of them at Christmas, also some
of those precious throwbackthursday photos – love it. I don’t usually proclaim my crazy girl
tendencies out loud but this one just seems fun to me. How to do this? Well if
you happen to catch someone’s photo early on in the “like” stage, sometimes
someone with the same last night likes the photo and well, they might be the
relative. Also, sometimes said celebrity
likes a photo of their sibling and you can be a creepier that way too. As long
as this person isn’t into privacy settings, you can randomly look at their
photo feed for a bit and just see what you find. I’ve never followed any of
these people only because that’s crossing some creepier line even I am not
quite ready to go down.
Anyone else up for confessing some creepy instagram
behaviors?

much loved
This coffee table book looks so cute to me - I think everyone needs a lovey and it’s
great to see some truly loved bears and animals. Much Loved by Mark Nixon is a collection of
teddy bear portraits of some of the most loved of their kind. I still have my
pink bear – Snuff, who’s been loved since 1988, making him 25 years young.
Snuff now sits above my bed most nights watching me sleep (little creeper).
Lately, I have been trying to track down Dolly – my lovey from birth, whom my
mother painstakingly replaced her back regularly since I would wear it out, and
eventually had to do reconstructive facial surgery when I wore through that
too. I think Dolly must be at my parents’ house somewhere in a hidden spot as I
cannot find her in mine – I really do hope I can find her as she was so loved
for so long.
Did you have a lovey or two?

four-eyes
I clearly need to stop going to Kate Spade online. I find so
many things that strike me as so cool and sort of make it to my maybe wish list
(you know the list, things you like but mentally cannot justify in your head
right now to buy). This unique necklace
in the shape of glasses is so cute – I keep thinking about what a fun little
accessory that would be for work. My inner nerd rejoices seeing them and I
wonder if I’d truly wear this fun piece or would just try it on all the time
and just take it off feeling like it wasn’t truly me. Anyway, I think the
glasses necklace is amazingly cute.
PS: Kate Spade is offering 30% off with friends and family
with the code FALL13FF

love and marriage
I am no expert on marriage, but I did find this article from Parade on how to make marriage last full of good advice on how to make any relationship work better. Just like anything, hard work makes something go well - and you have to take responsibility for yourself and your relationship in the end. Hope you enjoy reading this.

Wrapped Up in Books
I'll admit it I am a bit of a nerd, I love to read. There's nothing better then getting lost of in the pages of a good book. Exciting plot lines, new places, it's like stepping into someone else's shoes or taking a vacation without getting on an airplane. My mother always tells me to join a library, however I can be a bit harsh on books, and that whole bringing them back in a timely manner is sometimes easier said then done. However, I don't buy books all that often anymore as I've stumbled upon - Paperbackswap.com. Definitely one of the best concepts, and executions of swaping books with people all over the US. For no membership fees, only the cost of mailing a book (most which cost about $2.41 to send), you get your pick of any books out there, while other members help you keep your home bookshelf from exploding. The system operates on a 1 to 1 credit system, so for every book you send, you get a new book to read. There's even a wish list section for you to get on the waiting list for popular books or new publications. So far, I've had nothing but success, all my books sent are received and all books requested have made it to me. I am one happy bookworm.
