I took one too many trips to Sephora over the weekend, after I had already did an online order. Seems to be what I do though, all of a sudden I run out of one thing and then I am trying all sorts of new things. I was struck by this nude lip color by Too Faced- Naughty Nude (Love, love the name!). I really do prefer neutral lips, so this seemed to give the tiniest hint of color, which is just perfect.

summer has come and gone

Farewell to summer... September is here and it's time to set a few goals for the month. August's list didn't go as well as planned. I think I just was enjoying summer and being outside as much as possible - so forgetting the goal list made sense. Now it's time to get back to my type A personality and start my list for September, and actually try to tackle it.

1) Bake pumpkin cupcakes
2) Donate 10 items to charity
3) Read something non-fiction (anyone have a suggestion?)
4) Enjoy some long walks each weekend - taking in the good weather while it lasts
5) Try something new

Dear Norby-

Rumor has it you might be named after someone from British Royalty -  a good strong name for you should be coming your way. I won’t find out your official name until you arrive – but for now it’s fun to speculate.  Lucky for you, there are lots of names to choose from – so I cannot begin making anything personalized for you until the big reveal.  Right now I am routing for Henry (but please, no beheading your future wives). However, you could be Octavius, Adolphus, or Angus – all depends on what your mom and dad see fit.
