around the web in 10 links v2
Doesn't Molly look like the most relaxed cat ever in this picture? I was frantically cleaning, or something to that nature and she just gave me this look of put your feet up, unwind a bit with me. How do you say no to that face? You don't...
Time for a second round of around the web in 10 links with me.
I cannot stop reading Love Letters. Sometimes heart breaking, funny, but all and all a good reminder that the world is really looking for love, and well no one knows what they are doing.
Hello, this is Luke. For all the Gilmore Fans out there, he's out there .... maybe.
That time the actual author of the book I wrote about about on the blog, commented on my post. I couldn't believe it.
A history of TGIF, I for one cannot wait for the Full House reboot. This was my Friday night back in the day.
I wish I could come, but I really want this t-shirt.
For a giggle, Kylo Ren as Undercover Boss. I cannot stop watching this.
I love TV, I really really do, however I am starting to wonder if there are too many options?
Would you ever have separate beds for you and your significant other?
A favorite picture blog that I follow. I love the pictures these two ladies post - the simple aesthetic is gorgeous.
I really want to see this live show, I've been listening to the podcast fairly regularly. Have you listened to Mortified?

around the web in 10 links v1
For what I lack in posting on a regular basis, I am a pretty steady reader of a lot of things the internet has to offer. Found some great links I wanted to share with you this week.
Erin's pencil case souvenir idea, fantastic way to bring something useful home from travels.
Beautiful Feather note cards from minted.
Great early fall layering sweater. Helpful for anyone else who suffers from hot afternoons at a sunny window seat at work. I bought two.
Hating boats gets you blog traffic, who knew?
Is summer really over? Not if I can help it with my new jam.
Joanna's thoughts on single tasking. Is time to put the phone down for an extended period of time?
A DIY I definitely want to do, I might need help though....
Did you know you can freeze delivery pizza? I've started this trick and it's works so well.
A great place to find some staples, and some fun things. My most complimented shoes are a find from here.
I cannot stop listening to these funny ladies, I caught up on a few back episodes while watching people on the beach. I was not laughing at you beach people!

lately
February was a bust blog wise. Here's to kicking off March with a post... hopefully I'll be a bit more present this month on my space.
dreaming: of spring – 7 feet of snow and counting, and when
it gets warm it will take some time to melt. Summer sun is calling my name.
reading: Us: David Nicholls. So far interesting – a marriage
story that doesn’t look like a happy ending, but there’s a ways to go before
I’ll know what really happens.
watching: Archer on Netflix. I think I love this primarily
for Jessica Water and my love of all things Arrested Development. I definitely
love the humor on this show – the snark factor.
smelling: my summertime candle – if you can beat winter, you
might as well smell like a day at the beach.
needing: a pedicure – winter’s been tough on the old heels.
wanting: new workout gear, might be time for an upgrade from the raggedy capri pants I've worn for years - I am not sure, but they might be see through
listening: Ed Sheeran - I am hooked that that voice, I also think I have a thing for gingers - call me Ron Wesley?
failing: at getting my steps in on fitbit- tell me March will be better?

confessions:five
I leave for Belgium in about a week. The only things I know
I am doing there is staying in hotels- I haven’t planned a single site to see,
a museum to visit, a place to eat. Definitely way under prepared to go.
I do not like Facebook as means of communication –it’s too
impersonal for me. I deleted my full account over a year ago and set up one
that I do very little with, and it works for me. Why even have an account? I’ve had to
coordinate rides for races and things like that with people I only know through
my gym – that’s what made me get a new account.
Currently loving on Luke Bryan – I could listen to that man
every day all day long. He’s also fairly easy on the eyes.
My most popular post ever is “ I hate boats”… perhaps the
title draw people in? I’ve never had a post read over 100 times before this
one.
Almost daily at work, I leave a cup outside the bathroom,
get all the way back to my desk and have to go back for my drink. I don’t think
I’ll ever remember that I got a refill on my water or tea ever.

Hello August
August, the dog days of summer – am I ever pleased to see
you here. I feel like setting some goals
for the month, so of all places to keep me accountable, why not place them on
the blog?
Walk 10,000 a day (harder out of New York)
Do 30 sit ups and 30 pushups each day
Catch up on my thank you notes
Send that engagement congratulations card I’ve had for like
a month
Read: Getting to Yes by Roger Fisher (for my work book club)
Spend some time on the beach
Figure out what I am doing in Belgium
What’s on your list for August?

happiness list
How is it almost March? Though I am desperately looking
forward to spring, I still cannot believe February is nearly over – were we not
just ringing in the new year like a week ago?
Anyway a happiness list to keep it real this month.
In typical Jill fashion, I return from some days off to
instantly plan the next round of time away (vicious cycle I tell you). This
time I am going to be heading somewhere sunny and hopefully warm for a few
days. Bring on sunscreen and flip flops please.
Finally getting to the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones. I
have been reading the books, and I haven’t watched the TV show (maybe a summer
treat?), but I knew something big was coming and I was still shocked. There is
something to be said for an author totally willing to kill off favorite characters
– it’s bold and I like it.
I finally threw away my green tights. This made me
ridiculously giddy, as every single time I wear them I feel like the understudy
of the Wicked Witch. I cannot get over the fact my legs are green and it just
seems more obnoxious to me than other colored tights. As someone who hates to throw things that are
not ripped or ruined away, this was a small victory.
Embracing some green behaviors at work these days. I have
officially transitioned to a ceramic mug after being a disposable user for
ages. I will preface that I would reuse my disposable cup all day long so I wasn’t
so environmentally evil, but this feels like a giant leap forward for me and
the planet.
Sadly, I am excited that the Olympics have ended so that my
DVR can be stocked back up with things to watch. I can totally get on board
with some good old Olympic watching, but it is nice to be able to get back on
to seeing the final weeks of How I Met Your Mother and other distractions.

happiness list
This is the first happiness list post of 2014 - which seems crazy to me, but as someone who doesn't blog daily it makes sense it takes a few weeks to get here without driving you all batty.
This video by Conan O'Brien and his trip to American Girl Place in Los Angeles. It's long I'll give you that but it's ridiculously funny. I always wanted Samantha when I was young enough to covet one of these dolls, but never had one of my own. I still ask for this each Christmas just to annoy my mother.
Finishing books one and two of Game of Thrones. I am completely hooked but feel like I should read some of the other books waiting for me on my kindle for now. After I get through another book or two, I'll definitely be ready to start on book three.
Getting an extra day on a business trip so I can see my family for a day, particularly looking forward to seeing Norbs for a couple of hours. He and I have plans to play while his momma gets her hair done - I truly love our little "dates".
Planning a vacation in a few weeks – to a place that’s long been on my list. I am very excited to have something planned so early in the year and finally get a spot checked off my places to go, things to see list. There will definitely be more on this later on.
Loving the song “Throw it on the Fire” by Jon McLaughlin. I love the music and the lyrics, but the string instruments are amazing.
Have a fantastic weekend!
