ring around

It’s not a secret that I love accessories and clothing. If anything my love for good shopping is often quite apparent. One accessory I am not a huge fan of is rings – I don’t like the way they are on the hand, they feel clunky to me. Then I spied these adorable stacking rings from Kate Spade – might this be the set that changes my mind (okay, I’ll say it, there’s probably one type of ring I won’t mind wearing when the time is right)? The scalloped edges are really a unique detail that makes me happy. Is it too early to start the list for Santa?

just a summer girl

Accessories are a girl's best friend - or at least a major factor in polishing off an outfit. These bracelets  are really cute, and I ordered a few for my summer accessorizing needs. I ended up with the white and the dark blue, as those to me are great colors to match most of my summer clothes. I love the gold accents with a pop of color. I can see myself wearing these all year long, I might have to order a few more.

wearin' baubles, bangles and beads

Spring colors are everywhere - even in jewelry.  I couldn't resist picking up this necklace on a trip the mall when I was visiting Massachusetts last week. The multiple colors really drew me in as a piece that I could wear with just about every single item in my wardrobe - which means it has so much shelf life. This gives the perfect little pop to spring looks.

compartments plus three

My jewelry was getting a bit out of control on the tray I had been storing everything on - I never could find a matching pair of earrings with ease, or find particular rings when pressed for time. It was jumbled mess that just screamed for a new solution. On a trip to TJ Maxx, I found this very cute compartmentalized tray which is perfect for sorting jewelry by color, type, occasion  on my dresser. I also really like the french dots and the pink - I find them very complementary to the dark wood dresser in my bedroom. My only fear now is filling this with too much jewelry and running out of storage space - perhaps I should have gotten two.

a sprinkling of leaves

This dainty cuff from anthropologie is on my current wish list (is it too early to make a list for Santa, or can you ask the Easter Bunny since Santa is clearly on vacation this time of year?).  The details of the leaves and thrones is gorgeous, looking like vines you'd see winding up the sides of an old English home.
