There’s definitely a trend of iphone love for my friends and I – and cases are now pretty much are clothing for your mobile device. I found this super cute case from Minnie & Emma, which allowed me to personalize with my first initial (they have tons of cute cases for anyone looking for something different). I love how preppy and completely girly the new case is – with lilac and white stripes and my J in a hot pink. I no longer need to worry about any guys mistaking my phone for their’s.

If I was from Paris I would say Oooh la la la la la la

I really really want to go to Paris - it's on my top of my list of places to visit as soon as possible. I have been dreaming of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Seine River and seeing the Mona Lisa. The perfect novel to escape and pretend I actually have been in Paris was French Lessons by Ellen Sussman, which follows three Americans as they meet with their French tutors in various spots of Paris. Each one had a bit of a love story to it, but also a very interesting background as the three pairings were three separate stories, with a few common occurrences. I recommend this one to anyone looking for a little escape to France without traveling across seas.

My sister is an extremely good shopper- the type who can spot that beautiful item out of racks of clothes. Of course, she's also the type who likes the same style for herself over and over, so I love when she finds things just for me. On a rare trip to the mall for us (she lives in Boston), she spotted this amazing dress at Ann Taylor from walking outside and dragged me in to try it on. About 20 minutes later, I was a few dollars poorer but very happy with this choice - great for work and post work cocktails, and paired with a sweater is great for that spring into summer transition.

gettin' down on friday

One of my personal mottoes is you can never be crabby on a Friday. Happy weekend to all. This weekend is fairly packed with people and things to do. I am looking forward to catching up with some local friends who I haven't seen in a while due to busy schedules - and getting around to doing some spring cleaning again.
